►►JYP answers questions about YG, SM, and SNSD vs. Wonder Girls
YG Entertainment and SM Entertainment seems to be the two main rivalry against JYPE on the music scene right now, but it turns out they may just be friends after all 🙂
On last night’s Golden Fishery, JYP not only talked about his thoughts on Jaebeom; he also revealed how he feels about his competitors from the “Big 3,” SM Entertainment and YG Entertainment.
When MC Kang Ho Dong asked the Wonder Girls “Did you girls go overseas to America because of SNSD / Girls’ Generation?” They answered: “We wouldn’t have lasted if we thought that we needed to beat someone. We wanted to get 100 out of 100 no matter what, not merely get a higher mark than someone else.”
Kang then asked JYP, “What are your thoughts on SNSD?” To which he answered, “They’re so sweet and pretty but I love Wonder Girls so much that other girl groups just mean nothing to me.”
On Lee Soo Man, the man behind powerful SM Entertainment, he said, “He is always a motivation for me. When I have questions, I call and ask him – he tells me everything about advancing to other markets such as Japan and China and stuff. Still, I really want to beat him though.” He revealed that he is close with Yang Hyun Suk of YG Entertainment as well, saying, “They’re fair people. They wouldn’t hide something from me if I asked them.”
While praising his competitors he also showed his own pride, saying, “If they are to take their artists to States, they would have to ask me about it.”

►►Rookie Watch: Co-ed group A-Force ready for the Kpop music scene
One of the most well-known dancers in Korea, Poppin Hyun Joon has made a project group called A-FORCE. Their album jacket photos have been released and its gaining lots of attention from netizens.
A-Force is not only gaining fame in Korea, but also in China and Southeast Asia. For Poppin Hyunjoon to become a singer, he had picked hardworking trainees Surin, Victoria, Eun Byul, and Sooah (who released a trot single awhile back). This is an unusual setup of members as there are 4 girls and 1 guy (hella lucky guy).
Surin and Victoria are Star Empire trainees (same company as Child of Empire) and already have a good amount of experience. They were supposed to be in a 9 member girl group that Star Empire is creating, but who knows now. Surin had experience in musicals, Rocky Horrow Show and Woman while Victoria had a feature in a song with V.O.S Kim Kyung Rok.
A company representative stated:
A-FORCE is motivated by a famous German singer, Bony M.. They will be a performance and vocal group and will not only perform in Korea, but also in China, Thailand, and other Asian countries.”

With a heavy performing schedule behind them, I hoped they were able to balance time to study >.< Beast fighting! Good luck guys!
On Thursday, Nov. 12, four members of BEAST will be taking the national college entrance exam.
The college entrance exam is similar to the SAT’s in the United States, but in Korea the entrance exam is a determining factor in college admission that carries much more weight.
Hyunseung, Junhyung, Kikwang, and Dongwoon are the four members who will be taking the exam.
Fans who were hoping to see Hyunseung or Junhyung on this week’s Inkigayo Mobile Ranking were disappointed when the schedule came out to show that Yoseub and Doojoon would be filming Mobile Ranking together on Wednesday, Nov. 11. But many BEAST fans speculated that CUBE assigned Yoseub and Doojoon to Mobile Ranking so that the other four members could spend the day before the exam studying.
Even with this day “off” before the test, Hyunseung, Junhyung, Kikwang, and Dongwoon will go right back to their schedule after they take the exam with BEAST’s performance at M.net’s “Oh~ Good!” concert which is on the same day as the entrance exam.
Needless to say, the boys must be extremely nervous, but hopefully they know that their fans are behind them cheering them on!

Park Jin Young speaks up officially about 2PM JaeBum for the first time on MBC Golden Fishery.
On Golden Fishery aired on 11th November, Park Jin Young said, “If JaeBum comes back, he will return as part of 2PM of course. It will not be a solo comeback.”
MC Kang Ho Dong then asked, “Do you have to send JaeBum off to America in such a rush?” and Park Jin Young replied, “When JaeBum’s case was exposed, it was put under great criticism. And when he returned to the States, suddenly public opinion was ‘Was there a mistranslation?’ and that he did not do any wrong. The answer is in between.”
He continued, “Even though it was not like it is a mistake, it was not like it wasn’t a mistake as well. Someone who is responsible for part of the culture or has nothing to do with our culture should not be receiving the criticisms.”
“JaeBum is not a bad child. Back then he was going through a tough time and was not motivated at all. He even said to me ‘If it is not Park JinYoung’s song, I am confident of success’. But I like it that he does not lie. JaeBum has been changing and the JaeBum now is very different from the JaeBum then. The JaeBum back then had caused hurt to many Koreans, but the JaeBum now is very embarrassed by what he has done and does not want to burden the group as the leader so he has decided to leave. If it’s me I would have done the same.”

I re-listened to it over and over again and yea, KBS’ claim is kinda right but oh come on.

Following the news of singer K.Will, it has been revealed late that group BEAST was also banned.
The song “Yet” on BEAST’s debut album which came out in October was banned by KBS.
“Yet” is a sentimental R&B song that expresses the feelings of a person who has no experience in breaking up.
The song did not pass trial because of a phrase that has the potential to be misheard and misunderstood as a cuss word. Within the lyrics “The loneliness surrounds me as I spend the night in tears, shh,” the exclamation “shh” is heard as the cuss word “sh*t.”
A representative from BEAST’s entertainment company CUBE said, “Of course the phrase was not used as a cuss word.” The company has not yet submitted a request for a retrial.
After their debut last month with the song “Bad Girl,” BEAST has been gaining popularity.

2NE1 totally deserved this! I think not only they have the music down, they also got the fashion world going! When did girl groups start to adopt their individual style and not wear the same old uniforms? I think 2NE1 totally changed Kpop’s perspective on style..even though they wear some pretty odd things at times 😛

►►SNSD’s Sunny sets a new record for destroying her old photo within seconds!
I know it’s embarrassing but it’s always fun to show people your old photos right? lol apparently, Sunny doesn’t think so.
On an October episode, Strong Heart’s very own Boom Academy had attacked four of their female guests with some very unattractive pictures. Back then, Ga-In had set the record time for destroying her past picture within seconds, but she may have a new challenger.
On an episode set to air on the 10th, SNSD’s Sunny had indirectly challenged Ga-In’s record time, as she destroyed her junior high picture within seconds. The moment happened so fast that viewers would not have been able to witness the actual picture, if it weren’t for the dedicated netizens who posted screen caps.
Along with Sunny, viewers were also able to get a glimpse of Boom Academy, Kim Tae Woo, and Kang Ho Dong’s pasts.

►►Lee Hyori will not be attending the MAMA this year
hmmm…since SM already ditched, Hyori too? I wonder how empty Mnet’s Asian Music Awards this year will be 
You’d expect Lee Hyori who’s under Mnet Media to attend the MAMA, but nope, she won’t be there.
The MAMA’s have gotten off to an extremely shaky start with all the boycotts and artists not attending. They sure are plagued.
Mnet Media stated:
“Lee Hyori will not be able to attend the MAMA’s. It’s because of activities that were already scheduled long ago. In addition, Lee Hyori didn’t have any activities as a singer this year, so it’s appropriate that she’s not on stage anyway.”
