A.N.Jell gets their very own official website
Despite You’re Beautiful ending its run last December and A.N.Jell being just a fictitious band (although many wished that it was for real), fans can’t seem to get enough of the drama and its leading cast members like Jang Geun Suk, Park Shin Hye, Jung Yonghwa and Lee Hong Ki.
And to satisfy the fans, an official website for A.N.Jell was revealed in the past week before being officially unveiled to the public on April 12th.
The website actually crashed when it opened for beta testing on the 6th as 30,000 fans got wind of this and started hitting the website at the same time. It was however repaired in time to handle the heavy traffic before its official opening yesterday.
There are sorts of information about A.N.Jell like their profile, album, schedules, etc information and it is a definite visit for any hardcore fan of the drama.
They may be busy with their own individual activities now but who knows, they might just get back together one day on stage or maybe film season 2.

►►Hong Sisters are back with new drama “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho”
OMG yessss!! So far my two favorites dramas “My Girl” and “You’re Beautiful” were all written from the Hong sisters and they’re both really really good! I’m excited for this new release although it’s fantasy XD…and Lee Seung Gi is in it too! so it’s like a hottie bonus lol
The Hong sisters writing team — Hong Jung-eun, Hong Mi-ran — are coming back with another drama series! The intense popularity of their last series, You’re Beautiful, means there’ll be a lot of anticipation for their follow-up — and while nobody’s infallible, these two writers have a solid track record in the romantic-comedy genre (they’re five for five with hits like My Girl and Hong Gil Dong).
Now they’ve cast singer-actor Lee Seung-gi, who’s coming off a huge series himself in last year’s Brilliant Legacy. He’ll play the “extremely immature” (and somewhat cowardly) lead in their new drama.
The series is called My Girlfriend is a Gumiho and is described as a fantasy-melodrama. A “gumiho” is a legendary fox with nine tails that is frequently found in Korean folklore and horror tales. The main character meets a gumiho and fears getting his liver taken by her (the gumiho eats human livers), and winds up falling for her. The Hong sisters’ brand is strong on spirited comic scenarios, so even though they describe this as the most melodramatic of their projects, you can expect that the melo aspect will be more quirky than conventional.
The writers explained, “Western countries have Dracula. In Korea, our classic ghost is the gumiho, and we prepared our story around that. …The gumiho carries meaning of shaking a person’s resolve. The main character’s friends all say how great he must feel to have such a beautiful girlfriend, but he can’t reveal to them that she’s a gumiho.” Fearing for his own safety, he ends up doing all sorts of things to “protect” his liver from her. The gumiho character is extraordinarily beautiful, and will be cast with an actress in her early 20s. Lee’s casting is in the final stages as the producers finalize contract details.
The Hong sisters explained that this idea kept coming to them when they found themselves facing difficulties while writing You’re Beautiful. The drama will begin shooting in May, and plans to air in the summer (tentatively July or August).

CNBlue showed their individual charms at the recent filming of tvN ENEWS ‘Behind Star’.
Only debuted for 2 weeks, CNBlue climbed to the top of various charts and won #1 before attending the filming. Jung Yonghwa humbly expressed, “It feels refreshing.”
It is a fact that Jung Yonghwa received a lot of love from drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ as the Towel Man and Milk Man, which gained CNBlue tremendous attention before their debut. The team from ‘You’re Beautiful’ attended CNBlue’s showcase, showing the close friendship that they held.
Jung Yonghwa expressed that strong love rival, Jang Geun Suk, is a “hyung with good leadership who takes a good care of his dongsaengs.” He revealed about the casting, “I was constantly active in the indie scene but I went to try out for the drama. The character, Kang Shinwoo, is also a guitarist in the band, so it seemed like a good opportunity.”
Besides Jung Yonghwa, the other members too are skillful. The members have already been living together for 3 years. They revealed that the respective first impressions of each other were, ‘Jung Yonghwa the young noble’, ‘Kang Minhyuk the good student’, ‘Lee Jonghyun the young Busan man who often got lost’ and ‘really tall Lee Jungshin’.
In regards to the topic of ulzzangs, Jung Yonghwa expressed, “We don’t have famous ulzzangs. We just somehow ended up in ulzzang sites; amongst the 4 of us, I am the most famous ulzzang,” showing his mischievious side.
Before their debut, CNBlue went to Japan to study indie music and through the 100 over street performances, they built up their skills and stage manners. However, it was not easy living in Japan where they could not communicate.
“There were instances when there were no fans at our performances. They didn’t even look and just went past,” CNBlue revealed of their activities in Japan, “Slowly, our performances started to gather fans one by one.”
Even though CNBlue picked Lee Jonghyun as the most good-looking member, he was ranked the last of a popularity poll with Jung Yonghwa on top. Jung Yonghwa responded, “This is because Jonghyun’s charms couldn’t be seen yet.” Together, CNBlue disclosed the cleanest member, the member who is the most different on and off-screen, their ideal girls, etc.

Like the characters in the drama You’re Beautiful, they’re members of a band. TRENDY wondered what would happen if C.N.BLUE met someone like Minam.
All members smiled cunningly and made the leader Yong Hwa answer the question.
“If something like the drama really happened, that is, a Ko Minam (girl dressed as a guy) got into our team, though such thing happens only in comic books, if that really happened, it should be very interesting! But I don’t think we should lie! Telling lies aren’t good anyway.”
Hearing the answer from the leaders, Minhyuk, Jonghyn and Jungshin nodded and agreed.

Actor Jang Geun Suk reveals that he was shocked to see a different Jung Yong Hwa in C.N Blue.
Yesterday during MBC TV program ‘SaeBaKwi’ filming session, Jung Yong Hwa did a phone call on the show to actor Jang Geun Suk, whom he had acted together with in SBS drama You’re Beautiful.
Jang Geun Suk who picked up the call said, “YongHwa has changed from when he was filming the drama. Recently when I see him perform on music shows, he looked really talented. I was shocked when I see his gestures on stage.”
Meanwhile, C.N Blue is taking the Kpop world by storm with their debut Korean song ‘Alone’ gaining much popularity.

On SBS Strong Heart aired on 2nd February, C.N Blue vocalist Jung YongHwa talks about the nickname of ‘towel guy’ given to him for his role in drama ‘You’re Beautiful’.
And he did a live remake of the ‘towel scene’ in the studio, by demand, with gagwoman Jung JuRi. The only difference this time is that he changed his lines from “Because you are around I cannot wash up” to “Please wash up”.

He was on MBC ‘Section TV Entertainment’ recently with the 2PM members and actress Yoon EunHye when he talked about the kiss scene he had with JunHo for the drama parody of ‘You’re Beautiful’ for 2009 SBS Gayo DaeJun.
He was asked about his mother’s reaction to the kiss scene and he said, “We were as shocked. She said she was proud of it. She thought I could care (?) even as a man.”
Meanwhile, the group has recently ended their promotions for their 1st full length album ‘Heartbeat’.

I remember cursing at her while watching “You’re Beautiful” too but of course I know it’s just a drama so people should let it go when they’re finished 😦
On today’s episode of ‘Happy Together Season 3,’ After School’s ‘honey-thighs’ Uee revealed that portraying a villainous character in her previous drama (You’re Beautiful) was hard for her. Why, you ask? Because of the role, a few people began to believe that she was much like her character in reality.
Uee stated, “In the last drama I filmed, I had the role of a villain. However, because of the role I had, people began to question if it wasn’t my true nature. I was misunderstood.” She added, “The staff that I worked and filmed with knew about this rumor and how I was misunderstood but most people still believe that I’m a bad person. Because of this rumor, I felt a bit depressed.”
Aww poor girl. To be honest, I was never really a huge fan of Uee nor did I think highly of her before. But after having seen her more on variety shows, I was shocked by her bubbly personality! I guess it comes to show that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover!

aww poor dearie~~ although I have to agree with you..I’ve watched the clips of Yong Hwa MCing on SBS Gayo Daejun and I was remember thinking “oh how awkward” lol but I think it’s part of YongHwa’s charms ^^
Recently debuted as a singer as part of band C.N Blue, Jung YongHwa was on the recent episode of ‘Radio Star’ when he was embarrassed by the other MCs.
He was on MBC ‘Golden Fishery – Radio Star’ aired on 20th January when he said, “Even though I had huge success with the drama, I destroyed that presence as the MC for variety show or awards ceremonies.”
Jung YongHwa had debuted as an actor with SBS drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ and was awarded the ‘New Star’ award during SBS Drama awards. He also did the MCing for 2009 SBS Gayo DaeJun but with multiple mistakes he made during the show, he was given the nickname of ‘*minpye MC’.
With that he was embarrassed when the other stars on the show like Kim GooRa said, “I guess you haven’t got the chance to do silly MC tasks”. Also Lee HongKi who was on the show said, “I gave Kim HeeChul, who did MC with me before, and asked him ‘Did YongHwa do well?’ and he gave a very polite answer ‘He seems kind’.” teasing Jung YongHwa further on his MC skills.

Band C.N Blue had their debut showcase on 14th January at PM in Seoul KangNamGoo SeomYoo Centre.
During the showcase, they also revealed their debut title song ‘Alone’. The group consists of main vocalist cum guitarist Jung YongHwa, Lee JongHyun who is also in charge of vocals and guitar, drummer Kang MinHyuk and Lee JungShin who is in charge of bass and rap.
The group name comes from ‘Code Name Blue’ and they will be showing off their charms through various concepts like ‘Burning’ ‘Lovely’ ‘Untouchable’ and ‘Emotional’.
