►►SBS Inkigayo’s Olympic Special (1/31): girls become cheerleaders, guys have joint stages
How EXCITING!
SBS Inkigayo will be doing a special Vancouver Olympic special with girlgroups coming together as cheerleaders.
Coming 31st January, Inkigayo will be a 80-minute special with Super Junior Lee Teuk, HeeChul and ShinDong as the special MCs.
Park SungMin PD for the show said, “We will be doing a Olympic special this week. Girlgroup T-ara JiYeon, EunJung, HyoMin, 4Minute HyunA, Rainbow JaeKyung, SeeYa SooMi will be doing a cheerleaders performance for the Korean representatives at the Olympic games.”
It was also added, “There will also be joint stages – BEAST and 2AM will be performing ‘Champion’, Kim JangHoon and C.N Blue will be performing ‘Show’.”
There are also plans for a video showing Teuk-academy from SBS Strong Heart introducing about the Vancouver Olympic games.
The show will air same time from 4pm on 31st January.

wow I kinda understand that Go Ah Sung knows T-ara through JiYeon who also acts in the drama but 2PM? haha how cute ^^
T-ara and actress Go Ah-seong show off their tight frienship.
On January 17th, T-ara took home their very first Inkigayo Triple Crown award for being #1 for three consecutive weeks.
For their acceptance speech, T-ara dedicated their award to those people that worked with them and their fans. For their encore stage, their Wonder Woman partners Davichi and SeeYa shared the stage with them in celebration for their Triple Crown.
God of Study cast Go Ah-seong dropped by to congratulate T-ara for their win. After the brief celbrations, Go Ah-seong along with 2PM, Davichi, and SeeYa posed with T-ara for a quick batch of selcas.
January 16th marks the beginning of T-ara’s ‘Like the Beginning’ promotional activities.

►►T-ara, Secret, Rainbow, and HAM are Rookie Groups you just ‘Cannot Ignore’
Not only did the first half of the year go crazy with the sunbae girl groups, but people also went nuts (without exaggeration) for the new batch of girl groups that came out in the second half of last year, such as T-ara, Secret, Rainbow, and HAM.
This is especially true for T-ara who had won their first #1 in KBS2’s Music Bank for their title track song ‘Bo Peep, Bo Peep’ from their first studio album on the New Year’s and was followed by another Mutizen Song Award on SBS’s Inkigayo on January 3rd. T-ara’s popularity is surely to sky-rocket more later on.

‘Who’s going to be the strongest girl group in 2010?’
The last year was swept by girl groups and in 2010 and their fanbases are constantly growing, they continue to sweep the nation.
SNSD, KARA, Brown Eyed Girls and SeeYa were some of the girl groups that have been existing before the previous year. Just last year, groups like 2NE1, 4Minute, T-ara, Rainbow, Secret, HAM, and JQT have joined the music industry and had made 2009 what critics have called “The Flood of Girlgroups” (With no exaggeration whatsoever).
The men that have particpated last year such as 2PM, BEAST, MBLAQ, SHINee, Super Junior, and SS501 did not have a match with the amount of girls and did not make ‘mainstream’ enough.
Girl groups such as SNSD, KARA, 2NE1 and Secret are bound to have a strong chance of being noticed in the beginning of the year due to their upcoming activities.

This time with more T-ara members! (good idea to leave out weak-voiced JiYeon)
SeeYa, Davichi and T-ara will comeback with their 2nd project single ‘Wonder Woman’ after ‘Female Generation’.
There were 5 members for their first project – SeeYa YeonJi, Boram, Davichi HaeRi, MinKyung and T-ara JiYeon.
But for this project, it will be a 7-member one with new members SeeYa SooMi, T-ara HyoMin and EunJung with the song ‘Wonder Woman’ written and composed by Jo YeongSoo.
The lyrics to the song goes “Girls don’t be depressed Shouting out proudly Men get lose Women has our strong willpower Stronger than Love”
The project will be revealed on 7th January and the group will have their first performance on KBS Music Bank on 15th January.

Girlgroup members have picked 2PM TaecYeon as the #1 male idol.
On Star Golden Bell filmed on 7th December, various girlgroup members have appeared on the show like Davichi Kang MinKyung, 4Minute HyunA, After School JooYeon, SeeYa BoRam & SooMi, and Secret Jeon HyoSeong.
And MC Jeon HyunMoo asked Kang MinKyung, “Which male idol do you get most nervous when you see him” and she answered 2PM TaecYeon.
She explained, “When he rips off his clothes at the end of the song ‘Heartbeat’, I thought ‘So you can really get excited seeing a guy’s body’.” 4Minute HyunA said, “BEAST Lee KiKwang also ripped off his clothes like TaecYeon but I thought ‘What? Why take it off’ and gave a cold response.”
HyunA then said to Kang MinKyung, “Unnie you like chest abs?”. And then After School JooYeon said, “HyunA is still young so she doesn’t know. I also think that TaecYeon looks really cool when he takes off his top.”

No but srsly, if you’re into K-ballads, this guy is a MUST-KNOW!! He’s amazing and so underrated (maybe cause he’s older than most idols- 27 years-old?) idk but I srsly recommend Kim Jong Wook’s first album cause it’s just amazing 🙂
