►►Big Bang & SNSD perform and win @ 52nd Japan Records Awards
Japan Record Awards is a major music awards show held annually for outstanding achievements. It is presented by the Japan Composer’s Association. This year will mark the 52nd awards show.
Big Bang and Girls’ Generation both made it on the list of winners of awards alongside Japanese artists. Along with ICONIQ, they are the only Korean artists that have made it onto the list.

2010 is coming to a close in less than a month, and in Korea, the biggest award shows and festivals take place. In the past, some of the most memorable and greatest performances from popular K-Pop artists have happened on these shows. Last week, Mnet’s Asian Music Awards (MAMA) kicked off the season for award shows. Next is MBC’s 2010 Melon Music Awards, which will take place on December 15th at Kyunghee University in Seoul.

►►Japanese fans can’t get enough of 4Minute
It has been reported that both days of girl group 4minute‘s solo concerts in Tokyo and Osaka have been completely sold out according to officials from the venues.
The mini tour, entitled “4Minute LIVE Energy Vol.2 DIAMOND” will be held on the 4th at Zepp Tokyo and on the 5th in Osaka at the DOJIMA RIVER FORUM. The girls will be performing the songs that helped to catapult them to rising star status, including “First,” “Muzik,” and “Hot Issue,” all in Japanese, which will certainly make for a hot stage.
With performances never before seen by the public, the girls will certainly capture Japan’s hearts. Fans are already excited for the concert, which promises to recreate a club feel thanks to their lively tunes and the fact that the concerts are standing only.
Representatives for the girls have said, “4Minute will repay the fans who have always supported them with a wonderful stage, and through their intensive Japanese studies and preparations for solo performances, they hope everyone will enjoy the solo concerts.”

Korean actress Lee Da Hae won an award at the 2010 China Fashion Awards (CFA) held in Beijing of China on November 27th.
“Thank you for honoring me with such a big award and I will try to pay even more attention to my fashion. I thank China for the great love you have shown me and I will repay you with better acting,” Lee was quoted as saying in the press release.

…the 12th Korea-China Music Festival to be held in the KBS Hall, South Korea on the 2nd of December!
The event was organized for the effort to promote both cultures likewise and the Korean artists confirmed to attend are KARA, SHINee, 2NE1, CN Blue, Supreme Team and SNSD. The event will be broadcasted on the 12th of December on the KBS1TV Channel.

Being the new faces for fashion brand NII after Big Bang, C.N BLUE recently held a fanmeeting event on November 26th with one theme color: red.
►►10,000 fans come to support FT Island’s new album “So today…” in Tokyo
10,000…that’s a lot of zeros! Gotto love them Japanese fans :’D
FT Island’s 3rd Japanese single “So today…” had attracted about 10,000 fans to its promotional events. About 10,000 fans turned up at their promotional events in Osaka and Tokyo on 20th and 21st November respectively. FT Island performed songs from their new single “Boom Boom Boom”, “I change for you” and “So today…”. They also had a hi-touch session with the fans at the end of the event in appreciation of their support.
Member Lee Jaejin wrote the lyrics for ”So today” and “I change for you” for this new album. Choi Jonghun also composed the song “Boom Boom Boom” with Lee Jaejin’s lyrics.
So far, FT Island had all 3 albums ranked top 10 in the Oricon chart, ever since their major debut. Spokesperson from FnC Music revealed that, “Though it was tiring for the members to travel back and forth to Japan, they enjoyed doing the activities. They’re doing their best in order to thank their fans for their support.”
FT Island will be holding a concert in Busan on 27th November.
