We reported earlier about the tentative lineup for the upcoming Dream Concert 2010 and the finalized list has been announced recently.
Dream Concert is undoubtedly an event of epic proportions for kpop fans – with nearly twenty of Korea’s hottest artists performing on one stage in front of an audience that’s 40,000 members strong. For 2010, Dream Concert has been scheduled to take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium next month on May 22nd, and will be taped for future broadcast by SBS.

►►Rainbow’s Hyun Young sings Beyonce’s ‘If I Were a Boy’
Rainbow’s maknae Jo Hyun Young recently made a cover for one of Beyonce’s many hit singles.
Singing If I Were a Boy, which describes what it would feel like to love a girl from a boy’s perspective, Hyun Young harbored an emotional and mournful tone in her voice that accurately conveyed the message of the stunning ballad.
Although there were a few shaky moments here and there, Hyun Young displayed her wide vocal range and strong singing ability. She may be the maknae of a 7-member girl group, but her vocal performance was powerful and mature.

►►Performers/line-up list for Dream Concert 2010 revealed!
The performers line-up for the upcoming 16th Dream Concert was revealed earlier through Japanese online portals. Indeed, thanks to the Hallyu Fan Card, Japanese fans can already apply for the presale until April 14th, whereas the reservations will be open starting from mid-April in South Korea.
Related to 4Minute: [The information is still to be confirmed by PlayCube which has to reveal about the girls’ following activities but especially their tight schedule for May. 4Minute’s Japanese debut is set for May 1st (with the further release of the Muzik single Japanese ver. on May 5) and their Korean comeback was announced by newspapers for mid-May.]

LOL it’s kinda sad that I never really see these 3 groups together like SM Town (Super Junior + SNSD, etc.) or YG family (Big Bang + 2NE1)..but now we’ll see the whole DSP Family together as one^^
Looks like Kara and Rainbow will show their support for their DSP Entertainment soobae group SS501! DSPE has revealed that Kara and Rainbow will perform an encore stage with SS501 for the boys’ concert which will be held at Seoul Olympic Park’s gymnastic stadium on February 27th and 28th.
DSP Entertainment stated, “SS501 was sad that they didn’t get a chance to perform with their hoobaes, Kara and Rainbow. So to make the concert more special, we have invited them.”
Kara and Rainbow commented, “We are very honored to be performing with our sunbaes who we always respected. To make the concert much better, we will put on the greatest stage ever.”
Kara will be performing with SS501 on the 27th, while Rainbow will be performing on the 28th.

SNSD’s maknae Seohyun was on our list of the graduating idol class of 2010. She’s graduating from high school soon and her graduation photo was revealed today.
f(x)’s Sulli’s middle school graduation photo got revealed the other day and she was praised for having beautiful pictures.
The same goes for Seohyun.
SNSD’s fan cafe posted Seohyun’s graduation photos and people have been commenting, “So innocent,” and “How could a graduation photo be so pretty?” Her long hair and half-smile definitely makes her look gorgeous.
She will graduate from Jeon-ju Arts High School on the 9th and attend Dongkook University in the field of acting.

►►SBS Inkigayo’s Olympic Special (1/31): girls become cheerleaders, guys have joint stages
How EXCITING!
SBS Inkigayo will be doing a special Vancouver Olympic special with girlgroups coming together as cheerleaders.
Coming 31st January, Inkigayo will be a 80-minute special with Super Junior Lee Teuk, HeeChul and ShinDong as the special MCs.
Park SungMin PD for the show said, “We will be doing a Olympic special this week. Girlgroup T-ara JiYeon, EunJung, HyoMin, 4Minute HyunA, Rainbow JaeKyung, SeeYa SooMi will be doing a cheerleaders performance for the Korean representatives at the Olympic games.”
It was also added, “There will also be joint stages – BEAST and 2AM will be performing ‘Champion’, Kim JangHoon and C.N Blue will be performing ‘Show’.”
There are also plans for a video showing Teuk-academy from SBS Strong Heart introducing about the Vancouver Olympic games.
The show will air same time from 4pm on 31st January.

Korean “Dancing with the Stars”, anyone? 😛
On Lunar New Year, February 14th, MBC will be airing a special program “Star Dance Contest” (스타 댄스 대격돌-춤봤다) featuring some of your favorite idol groups.
The special dance battle program will feature Girls Generation (SNSD), who recently released their second album and music video for the single “Oh!” Also, now promoting “Like the First Time,” T-ara will be present with After School, hot off a “Because of You” wave. Fresh rookies Rainbow will also take part.
Don’t worry, you’re favorite male pop acts will be there too! Dance groups Super Junior, 2PM, and BEAST all are set to participate in this year’s battle.
Look forward to seeing some of you favorite groups battle it out on the stage while also having fun and playing games. The MCs for the program will be announcer Oh Sang-jin, comedians Shin Bong-sun and Kim Shin-young, and actress/CF queen Hwang Jung-eum.
