►►”My Black Minidress” to star Yoon Eun Hye and Park Han Byul
Yoon Eun Hye will return to the big screen for the first time in four years, while Park Han Byul will appear for the first time since 2009. The actresses will star in an upcoming movie, tentatively titled “My Black Minidress”.
The movie will be directed by Heo In Moo and distributed by CJ Entertainment. It will follow the lives of four twenty-something women. The other women will be played by actresses Cha Ye Ryun and Yoo In Na. U-Kiss’s Dongho will also star.
Production will begin this month. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters late next year.

►►Actress Yoon Eun Hye to make a cameo appearance in ‘Personal Taste’
There has been quite a fair bit of cameos in MBC’s Personal Taste but the drama is certainly going to get some immense star presence with their next cameo star!
Yoon Eun Hye has been revealed to be making a cameo appearance in the drama and will be appearing in Episode 8. She will be playing the role of Jinho’s (Lee Minho) ex-girlfriend called Eun Hye.
Her scene sees her meeting Jinho and Kae In (Son Ye Jin) by chance at the cinema and the three ends up watching a movie together.
Yoon Eun Hye had accepted the offer due to her good working relationship with Lee Kim Productions in her last drama, Take Care of the Young Lady.
Catch Eun Hye’s cameo next Thursday on April 22nd.

►►Drama “Goong – Princess Hours” to be turned into a musical
Obviously the old cast is not gonna be participating because the two princes Joo Ji Hoon and Kim Jung Hoon are both in the military now…but who’s excited for a HIP-HOP version of Goong?! haha
Four years after it was a drama sensation, Goong (aka Princess Hours) is being turned into a musical. (That means that the franchise has a manhwa, a drama, a drama spinoff, and now a theater production.)
Production company Group Eight announced on February 2 that the musical would open on September 3 at the Seoul National Museum’s theater,. Group Eight had reportedly considered the possibility of a musical adaptation from the outset, and this version will bring back the main producers of the drama series, including writer In Eun-ah (who’d gone on to write My Tutor Friend 2, Love & Marriage, and — surprisingly? — horror series Hon).
The Cinderella drama that catapulted Yoon Eun-hye and Joo Ji-hoon to stardom was known for its splendid visuals and costuming that mixed classical Korean hanbok and royal garb with a modern flair. The musical will also feature a fusion of song styles, from classical to hip-hop, jazz, and traditional Korean. Dancing will range from ballet (one of the main characters is a ballerina) to court dance to B-boying. Leads for the musical are currently being auditioned.

He was on MBC ‘Section TV Entertainment’ recently with the 2PM members and actress Yoon EunHye when he talked about the kiss scene he had with JunHo for the drama parody of ‘You’re Beautiful’ for 2009 SBS Gayo DaeJun.
He was asked about his mother’s reaction to the kiss scene and he said, “We were as shocked. She said she was proud of it. She thought I could care (?) even as a man.”
Meanwhile, the group has recently ended their promotions for their 1st full length album ‘Heartbeat’.

LOL after getting treated like a prince in Boys Over Flowers as JiHoo oppa, I guess Kim Hyun Joong really missed having that whole ‘luxurious’ feeling >.<
On the MBC ‘Section TV Entertainment Communication’ aired in 8 January, Kim Hyun Joong talked about his ‘Boys over Flowers’ after effect.
In the program, Kim Hyun Joong said: “The bike that I rode in ‘Boys over Flowers’ cost around 100 million won (~USD87,115), even the helmet cost a high price of around 18 million won (~USD15,680). Living like a tycoon for 5 month, after going back to the real Kim Hyun Joong life, I felt a bit miserable, felt that the life after shooting ‘Boys over Flowers’ was more bitter.’
‘Boys over Flowers’ which Kim Hyun Joong acted in cause the entire south Korea to start a ‘Flower Boy fever’. This drama was also received high viewership when aired in Japan, Taiwan and China, allowing the TV Station to gain very high profit. Due to the ‘Boys over Flowers’ popularity, props used in the drama including cars and bicycle were selling very well. Goo Jun Pyo’s hair style and Goo Hye Sun bike also have high popularity.
Yoon Eun Hye who was interviewed together with Kim Hyun Joong revealed: “I had also acted as a daughter of a tycoon, but I do not have any problem adapting back to normal life.” Her words were obviously in contrast to Kim Hyun Joong.

On the 29th of last month, still cuts of Nichkhun and Yoon Eun Hye’s scandalous dance shooting were released and were the topic of this discussion. Now, pictures of Taecyeon from the “Cass Beer Music Drama” were released to the public.
In the photos, Taecyeon is wearing a fitting black leather jacket and presents a chic style.
In the club, Taecyeon and Nichkhun see Yoon Eun Hye’s sweetness and they all exchange glances of each other creating an unusual triangle in the air that raised lots of questions.
He said, “Taecyeon’s statue-like face and strong body gave off an intense charisma and was amazing,” said “Taecyeon’s tough and masculine appeal further widened the interest of fans.”

It seems that Nichkhun and Taecyeon are two main casts for this CF.

The two grind it up on the dance floor and prove they are one good looking couple. And judging from the still shots, it seems like there’s going to be some interesting drama in this one, just like there was for Dara and Lee Min Ho.
The Cass CF music video featuring Dara and Lee Min Ho gained a lot of love and attention – we’re sure this one will as well.
►►Jang Geun Suk & Han Ye Seul are 2009 Best Dressed Celebrities
According to online fashion site (atzine.com), actor Jang Geun Suk and actress Han Ye Seul are the best dressed celebrities.
This poll was held from the 14th to the 17th and the two received the most votes from a poll of 800 people, naming them ‘2009’s Best Dressers.’
Jang Geun Suk came in at first by taking 44% of the votes. He played the role of a celebrity in his hit SBS drama, ‘You’re Beautiful,’ and thanks to this role, he was able to be dressed in quite fashionable attire that was loved by viewers. His Hwang Tae Kyung outfits even started a fashion trend in Korea and he has been dubbed as ‘Wan-Pan-Nam’ (완판남), meaning that his fashion has become a hit.
Following Jang Geun Suk, Kang Dong came in at 2nd with 28% of the votes, Kim Hyun Joong in 3rd with 18%, Lee Minho in 4th with 7%, Gong Yoo in 5th with 2%, and Ji Hyun Woo in 6th with 1%.
For the females, Han Ye Seul won ‘Best Dresser’ thanks to her simple yet glamorous red carpet looks. She beat Yoon Eun Hye for first with 33% of the votes, but by only 3%. In third was Seo In Young with 13% of the votes, Kim Ha Neul in 4th with 10%, Ha Ji Won in 5th with 7%, and Park Shin Hye in 6th with 1%.

Usually, being the most searched celebrity on a search engine shows the fame that a certain person has. Well 2009 wasn’t any different for these headline hoggers.
The most searched artists on Korean search engine and media portal Nate.com in 2009 was the new girl group 2NE1. They debuted with their single “Fire” in May of this year. So in over half a year, they became the most searched artists on Nate. What a big achievement considering the fact that 2PM and SNSD came in second and third respectively.

On December 4th, Yoon Eun Hye flew to Osaka, Japan to host a fan meeting titled “Eun Hye LOVE Christmas” with a 1000 of her fans. At the event she talked about her works on dramas and fulfilled the Christmas wishes of her Japanese fans as she met with them one by one.
She also held a mini-concert like event as she performed Natalie Cole’s classic song, “Love”.
At the event was a little boy who looked about 8 or 9 and when he met with Yoon Eun Hye he told her that being a celebrity is his dream as he confessed, “When I’m famous and I become handsome, I want to go out with you.”
Yoon Eun Hye asked the boy, “When that time comes, I’ll be over 40, would that be okay?” The boy responded by saying that it would be fine with him and made many laugh and go “aww”.

There have been many actresses who have successfully portrayed the role of a female disguised as a male character, such as YEH as Go Eun Chan in Coffee Prince, MGY as Shin Yun Bok in Painter of the Wind, and most recently PSH as Go Mi Nam in You’re Beautiful to name a few.
Cine21 held a poll on who most best portrayed the role of the female cross-dresser and the results showed that Yoon Eun Hye was indeed not only the original but the best of the lot, coming in at 1st place with 37.5% of the total votes.
