►►”My Black Minidress” to star Yoon Eun Hye and Park Han Byul
Yoon Eun Hye will return to the big screen for the first time in four years, while Park Han Byul will appear for the first time since 2009. The actresses will star in an upcoming movie, tentatively titled “My Black Minidress”.
The movie will be directed by Heo In Moo and distributed by CJ Entertainment. It will follow the lives of four twenty-something women. The other women will be played by actresses Cha Ye Ryun and Yoo In Na. U-Kiss’s Dongho will also star.
Production will begin this month. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters late next year.

►►Official line-up list for Dream Concert 2010 revealed
We reported earlier about the tentative lineup for the upcoming Dream Concert 2010 and the finalized list has been announced recently.
Dream Concert is undoubtedly an event of epic proportions for kpop fans – with nearly twenty of Korea’s hottest artists performing on one stage in front of an audience that’s 40,000 members strong. For 2010, Dream Concert has been scheduled to take place at the Seoul World Cup Stadium next month on May 22nd, and will be taped for future broadcast by SBS.

►►U-KISS’ Dongho, “I thought a girl’s smile meant she likes me”
LOL what an innocent child 🙂
U-KISS’s Dongho has made a surprise confession that he have mistaken women’s smile as a sign of temptation before.
On the April 18th broadcast of SBS Sixth Sense, Dongho shared his story on the topic “Women’s behavior that leads to temptation’s misunderstanding.”
Dongho confessed “There was a female celebrity that came to the waiting room and our eyes met, she looked at me, smiled and said hello so I thought that maybe she liked me”.
Kim Changryul, who is part of KBS 2TV ‘Invincible Baseball Team’ with Dongho, revealed “Dongho is always full of smile whenever female celebrities came to our waiting room and he greets everyone with a smile too.”
Meanwhile, Yoon Jeongsu said “People will misunderstood me even if I just says hello to them” which created a huge laughter in the studio.

The U-Kiss boys recently begun promotions on M! Countdown with their new song, What but like many other singers promoting during this period, their schedules have been disrupted due to events out of their control.
But one thing is definitely confirmed and that is they would be heading to Malaysia this coming June! U-Kiss member, Alexander had only just tweeted about it yesterday and we have one location confirmed today.
Geneses Dream Entertainment have managed to get U-Kiss to Malaysia for a fan meeting on 19th June at the KLCC. There were some doubts initially among U-Kiss fans who questioned whether it was a scam but the exclusive teaser video recorded by the U-Kiss members should put your fears to rest.

►►[PICs] U-Kiss models for Elle Girl
The 7-member boy group famous at home and abroad, U-Kiss has recently participated in a pictorial for Elle Girl as their main models for the May issue. Flaunting their dandy charm, the boys also joined in for a brief interview with Elle Girl and shared their pride of being the so-called International Idols.
The jokester Soohyeon revealed, “Ever since I was in school, I was very talkative and often made my friends laugh. My middle school friends tell me that they thought I was going to be a comedian instead. I am enjoying [my life] right now by being who I am.”
U-Kiss’ maknae Dongho also shared, “[Despite my image], I like being alone and I am currently investing my income in stock market.”
A couple weeks ago, U-Kiss held their own showcase in the Philippines on the 4th, gathering more than 20,000 fans under one roof. On top of that, they were also a part of Shocking M Super Concert in Bangkok hosted by Mnet, captivating the hearts of their Thai fans. With the U-Kiss fever striking Asia-wide, it seems the boys are a step closer to being worldwide superstars.

►►U-KISS’ Eli is the next victim on Mnet’s ‘Scandal’
Yet another idol star signs up for MNET Scandal and all hell breaks loose again!
The controversial and somewhat dreaded program made it’s return recently and have already got fan girls screaming with MBLAQ’s Thunder being the first idol star this season.
And if you still didn’t know, MNET Scandal pairs up a celebrity and a lucky girl (or guys for female celebrities) where they will act like a real dating couple.
And after seeing Thunder getting sandwiched in between episodes which featured actors Choi Philip and Ko Joo Won, another idol star will become the 4th celebrity and 2nd idol star on the show this season. A preview was released today where the U-Kiss members had masks on while a lucky girl picked randomly (?) from them to be his girlfriend, leaving viewers in suspense on who it will be.
But U-Kiss fans already know that it will be Eli.

Usually, the leaders of idol groups get popular first. The companies try to get the leaders’ faces known. That is why when the maknae becomes known, you know it’s a success. H.O.T used this tactic and to get their maknae Lee Jae Won known for his dancing and they became the nation’s idol group.
All the companies have been also sending the maknaes out for the variety programs. SNSD’s Seohyun showed off her variety program skills for the first time on We Got Married. It was as if SM Entertainment gave out their hidden card. The maknaes also start to get lots of CF deals after gaining popularity.

►►U-Kiss fans want Filipino DJ to apologize for insulting Twitter remarks

Hell hath no fury like an insulted K-pop fan.
Filipino K-pop fans are enraged and are demanding radio talk show host DJ Mo Twister (real name Mohan Gumatay) to apologize for his Twitter posts on boy band U-Kiss.
Last March 28, U-Kiss performed on “Party Pilipinas,” the new Sunday musical varitety show on GMA-7 that replaced “SOP.” The performance was part of the boy band’s Philippine promo tour for their album.
DJ Mo then posted on his public Twitter account the following messages:
“djmotwister: finally its an all-English noon time show! Hehehe”
“djmotwister: i stand corrected, these k-pop guys dont look gay, they look like lesbians.”
“djmotwister: im sorry all you k-pop fans but you cant tell me thats a heterosexual man. you just cant.”
►►18 Korean artists to appear at the Showking M Concert in Thailand
Cable music channel Mnet will be hosting a free concert in Thailand next week starring over a dozen K-pop groups, according to a press release by the broadcaster on Thursday.
Mnet announced it will hold the “ShowKing M in Bangkok” at 7 p.m. on April 6 where a total of 18 different artists, including 2AM, Brown Eyed Girls, Cho Shin Sung, C.N BLUE, KARA, Kim Tae Woo, MBLAQ, SG Wannabe, Son Ho Young, T-ara and U-KISS, have been set to perform.
Boy band 2PM members Junsu and Wooyoung have been chosen as MCs for the event.
“Thailand is currently the advance guard for spreading Korean pop music,” said the show’s chief producer Kim Dong-joon. “Many Korean singers will be able to promote themsevles overseas from this performance and largely contribute in raising the popularity of the local pop music, the Korean Wave.“
Korean music industry officials also explained that there are many Korean singers who will “take advantage of such big, local music show to break into overseas markets.”
The free concert, which will take place at Thailand’s Rajamangala National Stadium, was organized by media business company AMADAS and will be broadcast jointly by Thai terrestrial network MCOT and Korea’s Mnet.
A press conference regarding the show will be held April 5 with the concert itself set to air on Mnet two weeks later.

Seems like U-Kiss will be the first Korean group to ever sign with a major entertainment company in the Philippines!
Philippine’s top entertainment company, Premiere Entertainment Philippines, otherwise known as PEP for short, has chosen U-Kiss as the first Korean group to sign a contract with! As to why U-Kiss was chosen out of other popular groups, a representative said that U-Kiss is very international-based, with members who can speak multiple languages ranging from Spanish to Chinese! Due to such a profound and unique skill that not many groups have, U-Kiss was given the opportunity to sign with a company in the Philippines.

U-Kiss’ Soohyun “Shocking Scandal, JoKwon says ‘Let’s not be friends anymore.’ ” He described his feelings about his awkward scandal with 2AM’s JoKwon.
Soohyun and JoKwon were best friends even before debut.
Their deep friendship was emphasized on their individual mini-homepages. Such pictures and various ‘love signs’ confused fans into thinking they are gay.
During TV Daily’s interview with Soohyun, he remarked “The scandal with Kwon surprised me.’
Soohyun says “We became to know each other when we met as JYP trainees. I shared a friendship with all trainees not just JoKwon. Especially Beast’s KiKwang and DongWoon (WOW!).
Also “Now that I read the messages over, I suppose we were a little harsh.” But “Those are all memories and it doesn’t matter because I’m not gay anyways..”

►►U-Kiss’s Kevin’s 10-Year Contract is Off!
The day of unfair contracts seems to be coming to an end judging from this latest development regarding U-Kissmember, Kevin. With regards to the unfair contract that Kevin had signed with his former agency, XING Entertainment, the courts has ruled in favour of the former.
Months earlier, a new law had been passed pertaining to celebrities which ruled that that if a contract is too long or unfair in terms of the income and the amount of work someone does, the contract will be terminated.
U-Kiss’s Kevin is supposedly one of the beneficiaries of this new ruling that was passed recently. The Seoul High Court announced, “His previous company made a 10-year contract with Kevin and now the contract has been terminated.”
The court continued, “A 10-year contract is too long. It’s wrong in the context of social order. XING Entertainment was trying to keep Kevin under them for so long and they were taking rights from him. His profit was also unfairly divided.”
His contract stated:
-If albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 50000000 won ($44,000).
-If single albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 25000000 won ($22,000).
-If albums sold over 1,000,000 copies, he could earn 100000000 won ($88,000).
Most artists in Korea do not even sell over 100,000 copies of their albums, so this was a long shot. Kevin was living under an unfair contract at the time and luckily he is out of it now. Let’s just hope he has a better one with U-Kiss’s company, NH Media.

►►U-KISS’ Dongho, “When I fight against girls, I always lose”
LOL I don’t know about you but having a guy who’s easy to push around like Dongho isn’t that bad 😛
On the upcoming episode of SBS’s Quiz Sixth Sense to be aired on March 21st, U-Kiss‘ Dongho revealed that he is weak against girls!
During the show, the topic of “How to win in a talk fight against your girlfriend” was brought up.
In this discussion, Dongho revealed, “When I have a talk fight against female friends, I always lose. … Like other kids my age, I sometimes tease female students. But every time I start, it ends into a talk fight against them.”
He then gave a message to females in general and said, “Males tease females if they like them. Please don’t react very negatively to this.”
Cast member Kim Chang Ryeol then joked, “There’s a rumor that Dongho teases all the girls in his class,” to which Dongho responded by shaking his head with an unfair expression.
