Big Bang member, Daesung came out as a supportive force for singer Lee Hyori and her April activities.
On May 7th according to agengy officials MNETMEDIA, Daesung appeared on KBS’s 2TV “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” along with Lee Hyori which will be broadcasted on the upcoming 11th of May.
Lee Hyori’s new album “H-Logic” contains a track named “How Did We Get” featuring Daesung. The two will perform this song live together for the first time on the upcoming episode of ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook“.
Daesung who is the member for the cast of Song Jina’s new drama “What’s Up” and has acting practices although they’re not an official activity, still came out to make a special appearance for Lee Hyori on ‘Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook”.
Curvy queen Lee Hyori is still active in the fashion world despite her recent musical comeback with 4th album ‘H-Logic’. In the May 2010 issue of ELLE Korea, Hyori flaunts a short hairdo and show them youngsters what this 30-year-old woman got!
Lee Hyori talks about the MV for her comeback song ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ off her 4th album ‘H-Logic’.
Lee Hyori was recently featured for an interview on ‘Section TV Entertainment’ while she was filming for a jeans photoshoot. When asked about the unique concept of ‘the queen from outer space’ for her MV, Lee Hyori said, “Because I did not have any particular concept in mind, I went for the alien concept.”
She added, “So many singers have covered so many different concepts. So I thought I could try transforming as the queen from outer space.”
When asked if she felt burdensome after coming back the same time as Rain, she said, “I don’t know if we will harm one another in terms of album sales, but I get the feeling that we are supporting each other.”
The show will air on 23rd April.

The April 22nd episode of Mnet M!Countdown features diva Lee Hyori with her #1 win for comeback song ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’! The first #1 for the song since Lee Hyori’s comeback. Congratulations!
Let’s see how long the queen will last until the plagiarism issues for ‘H-Logic’ grow bigger…
Other highlight performances includes 2PM’s comeback stage for the show today.
This is some serious business Kpop diva Hyori is facing…to my surprise this time, some of the songs sound EXACTLY THE SAME (or they’re basically the same song) 😦
Hyori’s composer, Bahnus, seems to be pulling all the right stops for the singer… towards a bad reputation. Bahnus helped compose seven songs for Hyori’s H-Logic album, and of those, six are questionably plagiarized.
What makes these cases so striking is that no where in the album credit, did M.Net Media acknowledge that these songs were sampled.
Sampling is taking a portion of the sound recording and using it for a different song. To prevent legal actions and accusations of plagiarism, artists who want to use the sampled clips must first and foremost obtain authorization from the original artist before they are able to sample.
Of the six accusations, one of the songs is confirmed to be plagiarized. A girl group from Canada known as Cookie Couture released their song “Boy, Bring it Back” in 2008 and Hyori released her version, “Bring it Back” this year.
Lee Hyori’s new MV ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ has been given the green lights from KBS after it has been edited.
This is according to a Mnet representative through a phone conversation on 22nd April, “We removed the problematic scenes and sent it in for re-assessment, and it has been given the green light.”
Previously, the MV has been deemed inappropriate by broadcast company KBS as there was a scene which features the singer driving a truck without the seatbelt on. Also she was featured in the MV dancing on the road which violates the road traffic laws.
Amidst the cancellations the music programs have yet again announced this week, M! Countdown seems to be the mighty one. Today, the returned queen Lee Hyori graced her second official stage since making her comeback with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang!
Compared to her first stage, which was rather hectic for many viewers, this week’s performance seems much improved. And of course, we can’t forget about the hot ‘vroom’ dance she pulls off in middle of her song! Check it out below.
The beautiful diva Lee Hyori is featured in the May Issue ofVogue Korea. The Vogue Korea website recently uploaded the photo shoot with the title ‘Who’s Got The Power.’
With her recent endorsement for Adidas, Hyori is photographed with various Adidas equipment and Jeremy Scott shoes. She’s also wearing clothing and accessories from Christos by Amsale, David Yurman, Diane Von Furstenberg, Bulgari, Juicy Coutoure, Fendi, Dior, Jamie&Bell, Kang Hee Sook, Jardin de Chouette, Ann Demeulemeester, Missoni, Ash, Repetto, Amsaleand Gucci.
I’m not too sure about the hair but she does look lovely, check out the photos below.

The popularity and ease of making applications for Apple’s Appstore has been a phenomenon and it was only a matter of time before K-pop starts to cash in on this.
SM Entertainment already led the way with an applicationcentered around SNSD’s Run Devil Run and now it’s the turn of MNET who has launched an application centered around Lee Hyori’s H-Logic album.
The application costs 5.99 USD and will allow you to listen to her new tracks, videos, images, etc in one location. Will you be getting it?

At a press conference held on the 13th in celebration of her 4th album’s release, Lee Hyori was asked “Which girl group hoobae are you eyeing?” Without hesitation, the Queen of K-pop answered, SNSD’s Yuri and 2NE1’s CL, two members from the nation’s top girl groups.
Regarding Yuri, Hyori stated, “It was like seeing myself in the past. I watched SNSD’s concert and Yuri’s solo performance was impressive. During the Fin.K.L days, I, too, performed a solo performance at the concert and received attention from the music industry shortly thereafter. I have seen Yuri sing solo before and I think she is capable of succeeding as a solo artist.”
Regarding CL, Hyori stated, “She possesses a powerful aura that no one else has had until now. Her originality and charm are something that cannot be easily found in Korea. As opposed to being a pretty and sexy singer, her powerful singing and rapping skills will lead her to become a major figure in the music industry.”
Hyori added, “The featured artists in my album, 4minute’s Jiyoon and After School’sBekah, are friends that I have already stamped my approval on.”
Hyori also did not forget to lend a few words of advice to all the idols undergoing promotional activities. “As you receive training, you perform as much as you are taught. For now, you do as you are told by the management company, but once the contract ends, you will be all alone. If you do not learn to become independent, you may end up in a situation similar to that of an orphan who lost his/her parents.”
It must be an honor for Yuri and CL to be praised by the Queen of K-pop herself. Her observations are right on point too; Yuri and CL are both a popular favorite among the domestic and international crowd. With Yuri’s sex appeal and down-to-earth personality and CL’s natural charisma on and off stage, the future ahead looks bright for the two of them.

Bypassing international superstar Rain and teenage heartthrob Lee Seung Gi, Jaebum received 51% of the votes. Lee Hyori, on the other hand, earned 44%, outnumbering the votes for SNSD’s Yoona and High Kick Through the Roof actress Shin Se Kyung.
Runaway from Home is a comedy film revolving around Seong Hee (played by Ji Jin Hee) who seeks to find his runaway wife (played by Kim Min Seon) with his friend Dong Min (played by Il Joon Yang) and his brother-in-law Yoo Kwak (played by Lee Moon Sik). Related to 4Minute: [The information is still to be confirmed by PlayCube which has to reveal about the girls’ following activities but especially their tight schedule for May. 4Minute’s Japanese debut is set for May 1st (with the further release of the Muzik single Japanese ver. on May 5) and their Korean comeback was announced by newspapers for mid-May.]
This year, the Dream Concert will take place on May 22, at 7PM and at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. The event will be later broadcasted by SBS and here goes the current performers’ line-up :

okayy…I’m guessing “Swing” is gonna be the title track to Lee Hyori’s 4th album “H-Logic” after all 😛 It’s NOT! From a reliable source, he says that “Swing” is NOT her title track – it’s gonna be something else but Hyori just wanted to make an MV out of this song 😀
Maybe after a few listen I’ll forget how boring it is (Hyori was made to shake her booty! geez)… As for the MV, it’s interesting but the clown is scary 😦
The full album will be released on April 8th.
The song is slow and jazzy…totally NOT what I expected. That’s why I’m thinking this is NOT her title song
