For their new marketing campaign centered around their S Beer or Stylish Beer, Hite has roped in popular girl group Brown Eyed Girls together with divas Baek Ji Young and Ivy to form an awesome team together.
Their marketing campaign will involve a Queen of Beer national tour where the six of them will put on a showcase in Seoul, Busan and Kwangju from May 14th.
And for their photoshoot held jointly with InStyle, the girls really glam it up on set with their black dresses and smoky makeup.
The marketing VP for Hite, Shin Eun Ju said, “We want to show our consumers that S Beer is not just a beer. ►►Big Bang and 2NE1 to be featured in the 200th special episode of Music Core!

YG Entertainment’s idol groups Big Bang and 2NE1 will be on MBC’s music program Music Core.
Their future appearance on the show is attracting attention because until now, MBC and YG have not been on particularly good terms.
A “Music Core” publicist announced on the 10th, “Big Bang’s Daesung and Seungri as well as 2NE1 will be featured in the 200th special episode.”
Big Bang’s Daesung and Seungri will appear on the show for the first time in 11 months since they stopped MCing for Music Core. They will go back to their MC spots for this particular episode. 2NE1 plans to go on Music Core for the first time since debut, singing their single “Fire.”
Big Bang, 2NE1, and other YG Entertainment artists did not appear on Music Core for about 11 months. 2NE1’s appearance on MBC’s variety show “Danbi” started the reconciliation between the two parties.
YG’s head Yang Hyun Suk has explained before, “There are a lot of rumors about why we don’t appear on certain TV stations. YG Entertainment’s publicity outlook is appearing only once per week on broadcast. It has nothing to do with certain broadcasting companies.”
But YG artists still did not appear on MBC shows and the rumors still continued. However, with this new announcement that Big Bang’s Daesung and Seungri and 2NE1 will appear on Music Core, people are anticipating MBC and YG to fully reconcile.
On another note, the 200th special episode which will be February 20th, will also feature 2PM, SNSD, After School, Brown Eyed Girls, Lee Eunmi, Baek Ji Young, Kim Jong Gook, SHINee, C.N.Blue, and more artists all singing their debut singles.

►►Baek Ji Young fainted in the middle of her concert; currently suffering from bad health
I am so shocked! Baek Ji Young needs some seriously resting right now 😦 I understand her determination, but pushing yourself when you’re in bad health just makes everything worse :((
As many know, Baek Ji Young has been in a critical health condition recently. Even though she is very sick, the singer continued her busy schedule this week, which includes a solo concert and various event appearances, with determination.
In January 2009, the singer had surgery for her vocal chords. Her vocal chords didn’t fully recover after the surgery so she wasn’t supposed overuse her voice afterwards. However, due to her career, Baek Ji Young used her voice very often anyway and even developed a critical cold at one point. On top of that, she has low blood pressure so her health was at its worst.
A few days ago, Baek wasn’t feeling very well but was strong enough to complete her schedule for this week. On December 26, Baek Ji Young completed her concert, “Baek Ji Young’s Dinner Party,” successfully, to fans’ relief. She suffered from a high fever and dizziness but tried her hardest to complete her concert. However, on the 27th, during her second concert, Baek Ji Young’s health didn’t improve and unfortunately got worse. She apologized to her fans during the concert and was taken to the hospital.
She even attended yesterday’s 2009 KBS Entertainment Awards but it seems like the appearance wasn’t such a good idea. Completing a concert then attending an awards show just made her condition worse. Because of that, she had to go to the emergency room in the middle of the night to recover.

This year’s MBC Gayo Daejun will take place at the MBC Dream Center on the 31st. The MC’s are Kim Gura, Lee Bo Young, and Shin Jung Hwan but what you should be excited about is the line up.
It’s definitely going to be hard to beat SBS Gayo Daejun’s line up but with the 2PM and SNSD joint stage, it might be possible.
2PM also is planning on having a dance battle with Park Jin Young which will be interesting since both of them are known to be excelling in dancing. 2PM’s Taecyeon will also be performing together with SNSD’s YoonA.
Jewelry will put on a memorable and touching performance with Park Jung Ah and Seo In Young. Other than Jewelry, other girl groups will perform to show their unique looks and this year’s hit songs.
Baek Ji Young will perform My Ear’s Candy with Lee Seung Gi instead of Taecyeon. Awkward Lee Seung Gi grinding with Baek Ji Young, interesting.

Results are not surprising at all lol
[TVReport reporter Hwang Inhye] The girl group SNSD (with Taeyeon, Sooyoung, Tiffany, Jessica, Yuri, Yoona, Hyoyeon, Sunny, and Seohyun) have been chosen by viewers as “The singers with the most impact in the pop world in 2009”.
SNSD, who has won the big Golden Disk award, also placed first on the December 11th episode of MBC’s “Section TV – Star Ranking Season 2” and were again proven to have dominated this year.
During the first half of the year, SNSD started the Gee syndrome. They led a huge skinny jeans trend among ladies in their teens and 20’s, and their “crab-leg dance,” “perfume dance,” and “Alphabet G dance” have all been redone in numerous parodies.
During the second half of the year, the girl group hit a home run with their second mini album, “Tell Me Your Wish.” While their competitor Wondergirls left for a while for the States, they were able to hold the title of the “National Girl Group.”
