On the afternoon of the 6th at 12PM, the cast of MBC TV Sitcom “All my Love” gathered for a meeting in a restaurant located in Ilsan.
Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-in, who plays the part of Hwang Geumji, appeared to be very embarrassed when prompted about her kissing scene with Yoon Doojoon. The reason behind this is that Ga-in, who is currently taking part in MBC TV’s ‘We Got Married Season 2’ with 2AM’s Jo Kwon, is still having difficulty even when it comes to skinship.
Even celebs have their money control on lock.

It’s Christmas time and everybody is busy shopping for pretty
fur coats! Too bad Brown Eyed Girl’s Son Ga-In (All My Love) just happened to shop for the jacket as actress Bae Doo Na (Gloria) and they even wear them while filming their own dramas! Except, of course, Ga-In’s coat is orange and Bae Doo Na’s is brown.

One of my favorite girl groups, Brown Eyed Girls, are finally coming back as a group since their last album “Sound G” with the hit “Abracadabra” that got everyone hip turning! It’s been a year and they’re definitely one of the better comebacks, I think. 😉
The management agency for Brown Eyed Girls, Nega Network, released a statement recently about their activities as a group. “Currently, they’re working on their album, and they plan to make a comeback in January of next year,” the representative stated.
They added, “The members have been busy these days with their solo activities, and although they’ve had some great results, they plan to meet their fans as a group next year.”
The upcoming album will be their 4th. Fans are already in a state of high anticipation since their last single, “Sign“, was released a year and 3 months ago. The girls, knowing that they’ve got some high expectations to meet, are reportedly working hard on ensuring that their release will be a success.
You have seen them, you have heard of them, and you have thought that they were skinny. Who are the top 5 well-known ladies that we all know and love but just wish that they were a tad bit…less skeleton-like?
Either they’re super excited to see the world premiere of Harry Potter 7.1, or Brown Eyed Girl GaIn and 2AM’s JoKwon just love to imitate each other. Either way, here’s what you get (it gave netizens a good ol’ smile at least):
Fans have been anticipating this month as early as the beginning of April due to the fierce competition between the artists that returned in April and those that’ll be making a splash this month. We’ve already got Rain, Lee Hyori, 2PM and more duking it out on the music charts, but it’s only getting hotter from here!

Brown Eyed Girls’ Jea has revealed her cute nail art.
On the 13th, Jea posted pictures of her batman nail art classically labeled “batman” via Cyworld.
Jea’s fingers are the focus as she seemed pleased with her nail work. She happily commented, “Finally I got batman nails. Despite many people dissuading me from doing so, I didn’t act my age and decided to do these batman nails. However, the response has been great so I am very happy.”
Fans complimented her nail pictures as they wrote, “It matches well. Charismatic Jea” and “Being so happy over doing batman nails makes her seem like a child.”
I’m glad Jea likes her batman nails, I think they’re pretty cool and wouldn’t mind getting my nails done like that as well.

150 years ago, the average American worker worked over 3000 hours annually. Today that number has dropped to around 1777 hours annually. South Korea is known for it’s hard workers as South Korea has the longest working hours amongst the high-income OECD economies at just under 2400 hours annually. It seems idols in Korea fit this trend as they also work many hours annually.
“Are idols working all year long?“
This has been popping into the heads of many fans lately and it seems that there’s enough evidence on the k-pop scene to support this thought.
From the early 1990’s to around 2002, it was rare to see idols work so much. When an idol group or singer ended their live promotions, it was difficult to see the artists until their next comeback. That is now obviously not the case with the proliferation of the internet and increase of technology. In addition, members from idol groups continue to stay in the media long after their promotions have ended.
For example, Big Bang has been busy promoting like crazy in Japan and yet T.O.Pfound the time to star in the spy action drama IRIS. Now the group is in production for their comeback later this year and the fierce rapper is still acting as he will star in the film 71-Into the Fire.
After closing their promotions, most idol groups make their comebacks within a month or two but The Brown Eyed Girls are one of the special cases as they’ve stayed low key since their last single Sign. Even so, both Ga-In and Narsha are keeping busy with reality programs We Got Married and Invincible Youth, respectively. Not to mention that both girls are busy in production for their solo debuts!
2AM is currently in the midst of live promotions but ssanti leader Jo Kwon has been appearing on the show We Got Married opposite of Ga-In as a fictional married couple. Seulong has also just begun his acting career through the new dramaPersonal Taste.
2PM is also busy with Taecyeon appearing on Family Outing as a regular and also starring on the new hit drama Cinderella’s Sister. Wooyoung, Nichkhun andChansung are also busy in the media. They also have a comeback coming soon as well.
BEAST also had their fair share of hard working members as Doo Joon was in Kenya with the Danbi team and Gi kwang had starred in the hit sitcom Hick Kick Through The Roof.
Of course these are only a few examples of idols in the media.
Years ago, most idol groups had only 3 to 5 members. Now there’s a growing trend where many have 7 or more members (ie. Super Junior, SNSD, U-KISS, After School etc.). Fans speculate that because there are so many members in a group, the companies compensate for the “impersonal feel” by having them appear on various programs. To get to know these idols better, all year long the idols appear on variety and reality programs and expand their careers from music into television and movie acting. But even through the craze of it all our favorite idols seem to keep on smiling and laughing, thankful for the opportunities that come their way.
There’s some with the mentality of “Hard Work Never Killed Anybody” and there’s others with “Hard Work Never Killed Anybody… but why try?” What do you guys think, should the idols take it down a notch or continue to do as they do as long as they’re happy?

Jo kwon and Ga in celebrate their 200th day anniversary on April7th as couples on the variety show “We got Married”.
They updated their Me2day account with two pictures.
The Brown Eyed Girls are to release a special album to commemorate the 3rd year of ‘Fiesta On Ice’ and will be released on 6th April. Other than the Brown Eyed Girls, other hit composers like Yoon IlSang, Han JaeHo and Kim SeungSoo have taken part in it.
Despite the group’s busy schedule promoting not only in Korea but also overseas as well as the individual members are involved in their own activities, they have managed to take time out to participate in the special album.
The theme song for the ice show this time is ‘Magic’. Another theme song included in the album is ‘Jump’ composed by Yoon IlSan who made hit songs like ‘Miss you‘ by Kim BumSoo and ‘I have lover’ by Lee EunMi etc.
This song is a new song by the Brown Eyed Girls 6 months after they released their previous hit ‘Sign’.
One netizen uploaded an ordering of SNSD members according to categories such as singing abilities, skin tone, height, popularity, etc which SNSD chuckled at because it turned out to not be too accurate.
In this ordering, Seohyun was picked as the member that “is a hidden jewel.” So let’s check out all of the hidden jewels, the maknaes, of the idol groups.
Rule #1: If the maknae is popular, everyone is popular.
Usually, the leaders of idol groups get popular first. The companies try to get the leaders’ faces known. That is why when the maknae becomes known, you know it’s a success. H.O.T used this tactic and to get their maknae Lee Jae Won known for his dancing and they became the nation’s idol group.
All the companies have been also sending the maknaes out for the variety programs. SNSD’s Seohyun showed off her variety program skills for the first time on We Got Married. It was as if SM Entertainment gave out their hidden card. The maknaes also start to get lots of CF deals after gaining popularity.
The month of April seems to be getting way out of hand with all these comebacks and debuts so of course many fans are getting confused. So here’s the master schedule for you to see and get even more excited!
