This group “Bless” had originally debut in 2007. but they are back with a new feel and image.They had changed their name to Code-V Officially! Rainbow’s maknae Jo Hyun Young recently made a cover for one of Beyonce’s many hit singles.
Singing If I Were a Boy, which describes what it would feel like to love a girl from a boy’s perspective, Hyun Young harbored an emotional and mournful tone in her voice that accurately conveyed the message of the stunning ballad.
Although there were a few shaky moments here and there, Hyun Young displayed her wide vocal range and strong singing ability. She may be the maknae of a 7-member girl group, but her vocal performance was powerful and mature.

►►Onew gets embarrassed by a karaoke machine?
On a recent filming session for KBS JOY’s SHINee’s Hello Baby, the boys plus their baby Yoo Geun hooked up their television to a fancy karaoke machine to hit up some of their favorite children’s songs. SHINee was also challenged to get the highest score and rating out of all.
Team’s leader, Onew, however, seems to have focused on acting funny a bit too much while singing. Not only did he received the lowest score, but was advised by the machine, “You need a lot of work to become a singer.”
Talk about embarrassment…

►►Daesung&Seungri in a new SBS Show?
According to Chinese forum site these are photos of Seungri and Daesung filming for a new SBS show that will come out later in April. The clothes look “extra” hip-hop-ishthan normal like they’re tryiing to be funny and on Daesung’s hat it says “Hip-Hop” so it’s possible, but I haven’t heard anything from Korean media yet. I hope it’s true though I love seeing them on variety shows!!

►►Kara got caught for holding BOMBS?!
On an episode of Strong Heart that aired on the 23rd,Kara’s Nicole and Goo Hara revealed that they have been searched at the airport for bombs.
“Recently, we were searched at the airport because someone reported that there was a bomb in one of the Kara member’s bags.
They continued,
“Not too long ago, we had went to the airport for our Japanese promotions during our preparation for Lupin. We were waiting at the airport to board the plane when we got a call from the airport officials saying, ‘There’s a suspicious item that looks like a bomb in one of the Kara member’s bag.”
All the members were reportedly scared to death while security checks were being made, and the object that was reported as a bomb was actually found in the bag.
Update: The “bomb” was revealed to be dumbbells that Jiyoung bought.

Around a month ago we reported that Super Junior’s Choi Siwon would share a hot kiss with Jun Hye Jin for the SBSdrama Oh! My Lady. Well, the long awaited kiss scene has finally aired!
In the episode, Siwon and Jun Hye Jin kiss while filming a movie. During the actual filming of the scene, fifty of Siwon’s fans actually showed up to play as extras of the drama & movie that Siwon’s actor character is in. In a scene of Siwon’s character’s fan meeting, 300 of his fans showed up and sang for him.

►►K-VIP’s are angry after Milan Stankovic copies GD But claims GD was inspired by him!
I am so angry after reading this that I don’t even want to post this guy’s face but in order to let you know who he is I must post the picture.
Milan Stankovic is a singer from Serbia who gained fame after he came out as 4th on popular Serbian singing show Zvezde Granda. KVIPS are extremely upset after the Serbian media has called G-Dragon a “Korean Wannabe Milan Stankovic”. Proof of that here.
Not only has the Serbian media made false accusations but even the rumor has it that even singer himself came out to say “I’m glad that Balkan is recognized in the world and that my influence is found in a country so far away. It’s nice to see that a music star from another country is being inspirated by my style and it’s the more proof that I’m doing the right thing!”, proof of that here.
A Serbian fan claimed she saw news of this on her tv and that the singer actually came out and said on tv that G-Dragon had “stolen my clothing style, and hair style also“
►►Lollipop Girl Revealed On March 22nd!!
Hey all VIPS! The New Lollipop girl will be revealed on the 22nd! Excited?
It has been announced that Big Bang ‘Lollipop Girl’ will be revealed through Mnet on 22nd March.
There will be a large scale event ‘Lollipop Girl Selection Project’ jointly organised byLG, CYON and Mnet where the Lollipop girl will be selected to be Big Bang members’ partner for the CF as well as the chance to do the photoshoot filming withBig Bang this summer. The winners will also be awarded 1million KRW each.
With that, the application for the selection was held online from 10th February till 2nd March on CYON homepage. About 10K participates signed up.
And 12 final participants were chosen after looking at their dance, singing and personal talents. The 12 finalists will be revealed through Mnet on 22nd March. The show will be aired on 22nd March at 7pm with Yoo SaeYoon as the MC.

►►U-Kiss’s Kevin’s 10-Year Contract is Off!
The day of unfair contracts seems to be coming to an end judging from this latest development regarding U-Kissmember, Kevin. With regards to the unfair contract that Kevin had signed with his former agency, XING Entertainment, the courts has ruled in favour of the former.
Months earlier, a new law had been passed pertaining to celebrities which ruled that that if a contract is too long or unfair in terms of the income and the amount of work someone does, the contract will be terminated.
U-Kiss’s Kevin is supposedly one of the beneficiaries of this new ruling that was passed recently. The Seoul High Court announced, “His previous company made a 10-year contract with Kevin and now the contract has been terminated.”
The court continued, “A 10-year contract is too long. It’s wrong in the context of social order. XING Entertainment was trying to keep Kevin under them for so long and they were taking rights from him. His profit was also unfairly divided.”
His contract stated:
-If albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 50000000 won ($44,000).
-If single albums sold over 500,000 copies, he could get 25000000 won ($22,000).
-If albums sold over 1,000,000 copies, he could earn 100000000 won ($88,000).
Most artists in Korea do not even sell over 100,000 copies of their albums, so this was a long shot. Kevin was living under an unfair contract at the time and luckily he is out of it now. Let’s just hope he has a better one with U-Kiss’s company, NH Media.
