2010 is coming to a close in less than a month, and in Korea, the biggest award shows and festivals take place. In the past, some of the most memorable and greatest performances from popular K-Pop artists have happened on these shows. Last week, Mnet’s Asian Music Awards (MAMA) kicked off the season for award shows. Next is MBC’s 2010 Melon Music Awards, which will take place on December 15th at Kyunghee University in Seoul.

Jo Kwon expressed, ‘Even though Seulong is usually an attentive person, in front of girls, the look in his eyes is different. In particular, his eye-smile is very charming.‘ To demonstrate what Jo Kwon meant, Seulong showed off his eye-smile and captured the hearts of the audience.

Changmin objected, “After Seulong and IU sang a duet together, he doesn’t refer to her by her stage name anymore, but calls her ‘Ji Eun-ah‘,” revisiting the point that Seulong has a way with women.

Girls Generation member TaeYeon will be leaving MBC Radio FM4U 91.9Mhz ‘Chin Chin Radio’. With no follow up DJs chosen, BEAST’s Yoon DooJoon and the singer IU has been chosen as the temporary DJs.
The producers stated, “We haven’t not chosen an official follow up DJ,” and added, “Starting the 26th, for about 2 weeks, BEAST’s Yoon DooJoon and IU will be taking the MC role for temporary.”
In addition, they stated, “BEAST’s Yoon DooJoon has the talent and the smooth charisma, and IU has the cuteness and the speedy responses.”
Meanwhile, Girls Generation member, TaeYeon, will be leaving the broadcast on the 25th. On the 19th, when the news that she will be leaving the show was first released, she spilled tears and showed sadness. The reason that TaeYeon will be leaving the show is because she has to do her activities as Girls Generation overseas, and also for the focus of her new musical, “Song of the Sun.”

소녀시대 태연이 MBC 라디오 FM4U 91.9Mhz ‘친한친구’에서 하차한다. 후임 DJ가 발탁되지 않은 가운데 비스트의 윤두준과 가수 아이유가 임시 DJ로 결정됐다.
제작진은 “아직 후임 DJ는 확정되지 않은 상태”라며 “오는 26일부터 2주간 비스트의 윤두준과 아이유가 임시 DJ를 맡기로 했다”고 말했다.
이어 “비스트의 윤두준은 부드러운 카리스마와 재치를, 아이유는 발랄함과 순발력 있는 입담을 가지고 있다”고 밝혔다.
한편 소녀시대 태연은 25일 방송을 끝으로 하차한다. 하차 소식이 처음 알려진 19일 방송에서 태연은 눈물을 쏟으며 아쉬움을 표했다. 태연의 하차 이유는 소녀시대 해외 활동 및 뮤지컬 ‘태양의 노래’에 전념하기 위해서다.

2010’s idol graduating class is getting even bigger as F.Cuz’s Kan and Yejun are also on the list!
On the 4th, Yejun and Kan survived through and graduated from Yehsool High School. And if you didn’t already know, Yejun celebrated his graduation in conjunction with his birthday (now 18, American age). To make their day even more special, fellow F.Cuz members Jinon and Lee U attended the graduation ceremony to show their support for their ‘little brothers.’ Yejun also received a student representative award from his school but his special day didn’t end there!
