2PM’s TaecYeon has been chosen as the ‘beasty’ celebrity who goes well with the image of werewolf Jacob in new Hollywood movie ‘New Moon”. A poll was conducted on GomTV from 13th till 20th November, on ‘Which local young celebrity’s image suit that of Jacob, who protects Belle in movie New Moon?’. About 184 netizens polled and 70.7% of them chose TaecYeon.
2PM recently released their comeback 1st album ‘1:59PM’ and is known as the ‘beasty idol’ in Korea. And of the 2PM members, TaecYeon stands out in terms of his overflowing charisma and has received much love from fans. He has also showcased his charms with his collaboration with Baek Ji Young for ‘My Ear’s Candy’.

►►2NE1, 4minute, T-ara, and f(x) to battle it out for Golden Disk Awards
So far I’ve experienced how Koreans are pretty f(x) biased…I, on the other hand, dearly hope 2NE1 will win!
The award for Best New Artist will be a battle of the females at this year’s Golden Disk Awards, which will air on December 10th at 7PM. As you all undoubtedly know, 2009 has been the year of female idol groups. In the past, the nomination for best new artist would have gone to comparable number of male and female idol groups, but for this year, all four groups nominated happen to only be girl groups. Sorry, guys!
The four female idol group that will be duking it out at this year’s Golden Disk Awards are 2NE1, 4minute, T-ara (Tiara), and f(x). As none of the four groups released a full-length album this year, album sales will not be a factor in deciding which group will receive the coveted award. Instead, the groups will be scored based on sales from their singles, popularity and scores from judges.

For Park Jin Young (JYP), who is to release a new album early next month, 2AM’s member Seulong (22) had volunteered to support him.
Last week, Seulong had participated in the new album’s music video as an actor. Seulong who had stated from his debut days that he “wants to show different sides of himself as an actor, model, entertainer etc.” had continuously practiced acting. He showed a short but strong action scene in this upcoming music video.
A staff from mv crew stated, “For Park Jin Young’s new album, many models participated, and Seulong did as well, showing off his acting skills.” The staff revealed, “Although Seulong has a very friendly and funny image on variety programs, for this mv, he showed his manly charismatic side.”

There are in total 10 musician teams who participated in this ‘Viva Glam’ photoshoot – Kim TaeWoo, Bada, Park JungAh, Baek Ji Young, Brown Eyed Girls, Ivy, In Sooni, Clazziquai, Jaurim Kim YoonAhn-Kim Hyung Gyu and Tiger JK-Yoon MiRae.
