►►Idol group members come together for a new SBS variety show production :D
SBS has put a new large-scale variety show into production.
SBS announced on the 14th, “There will be a new game competition variety show called ‘Oh! Brothers‘ with 12 male and female celebrities divided into six teams, each with 2 people.” This show is not of the real variety format that has been popular lately; instead, it aims to remake the show X-Man that ended April 2007.
Kim Gook Jin is the main MC of the show. Newsen has said on December 7th, “He is a very good MC and interacts well with people and will be a perfect match for the show.”
Along with Kim Gook Jin are 6 other male guests who will MC (Nam Hee Suk, Yoo Se Yoon, Gang Ji Seop, Kim Tae Woo, Super Junior’s Leeteuk, and SHINee’s Minho). Girl celebrities on the show include ChaeYeon, Brown Eyed Girl Narsha, Kim Shin Young, SNSD’s Sooyoung, Kara’s Nicole, and 4Minute’s Hyuna.
100 non-celebrity individuals, divided in 5 groups of 20, will bet on the celebrity team they want to see live on. If the celebrity duo the team roots for loses, the team also gets eliminated. At the end, the team who hasn’t been eliminated wins and gets the prize.
The first recording will be on the afternoon of December 15 in Deung-chon dong, and the first broadcast will be on the 25th at 6:30 as a Christmas special.

From 2009, Mnet annual music event MKMF will be changed to Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA).
A live program took place on 23rd October in Seoul Tower and the idea of the new music awards ceremony was revealed. Previously on 16th October, the note “This year there will be no MKMF’ was posted on Mnet’s official homepage, the change of the music ceremony was to give it a new transformation as mentioned by Mnet.

That’s so sad…first is because 2AM mostly sing sad songs; and second is because Kangin is missing out on the good stuff. I wonder how E.L.Fs will react to this @_@
Daesung won’t perform with Big Bang for the upcoming ‘Dream Concert‘ on October 10th at the Seoul World Cup Stadium. Now there’s news that Super Junior’s Kangin won’t join his fellow Super Junior mates on stage for the concert. Most likely due to the recent assault controversies.
Even without DBSK, Kangin, and Daesung not being in the lineup, the Dream Concert is still going to be packed with some of K-Pop’s top artists. The list of performers include Super Junior (minus Kangin), Big Bang (minus Daesung), SNSD, SHINee, 2NE1, Chae Yeon, f(x), 2PM (not on broadcast), KARA, Wheesung, Jewelry, 4minute, T-ara, MC Mong , Park Hyo Shin, and…

One of the last minute additions to the Dream Concert artist line-up is 2AM. JYPE revealed this information yesterday through their official website. Dream Concert has also been officially added in 2AM’s official schedule on their official website.

‘Festival of Stars’ Dream Concert is 4 days away and here goes another survey 🙂
On October 10, 6:30 PM at Seoul District Mapo Sangamdong Seoul World Cup Stadium regarding the opening of 2009 Dream Concert (,) on and after September 28 (,) on October 6 as a result of survey question in 9 days that was coordinated from Caffebene*, Super Junior’s performance stage at Dream Concert will be the best stage.
Overall, from participation of 42,190 people in the survey question,
Super Junior got 45% approval rating with 19,117 people’s supports, landslidely rating in the first place.
Super Junior has recently stated Chinese activity project group, Super Junior M’s “Supergirl”, on Chinese Music Chart, rising first place at home and abroad, including a great popularity.
Survey results:
1. Super Junior= 45 % (19,117 people)
2. Big Bang= 21% (8,977 people)
3. SNSD= 13% (5,593 people)

►►2PM’s performance for “Dream Concert ’09” will NOT be broadcasted
First of all, this is dumb. Second, there are fan cams so either way the fans will see it =.=;
2PM, currently promoting as 6 members after leader member JaeBum left the group, will be performing on Dream Concert coming 10th October. But it was stated that their performances will be edited out from the broadcast of the concert.
A staff to the Dream Concert said, “2PM will go on stage to perform but their performances will be edited before broadcasted. They will be singing the hit songs ‘Again & Again’ and ‘I Hate You’ but by request of the production company (of Dream Concert) it will not be broadcasted.”
Dream Concert will take place on 10th October in Seoul World Cup Stadium from 6.30pm. The MCs for the night will be Kim HeeChul and Song JiHyo.
Performing artistes are Big Bang, Super Junior, So Nyeo Shi Dae, 2PM, SHINee, Jewelry, 2NE1, 4Minute, ChaeYeon, WheeSung, MC Mong, Park HyoShin, KARA, T-ara, f(x), Kim TaeWoo etc – a total of 16 performing teams.
2PM performed on stage for the first time on 25th September for ‘2009 Super Model Contest’ after deciding to promote as 6 members after JaeBum left the group. But back then, only 2 members performed and their performances were not broadcasted on TV.
And even though their Dream Concert performance will be a longawaited performance for fans to see the members on stage again, when it is aired on 11th October at 4.10pm, their performances will not be broadcasted.

ShinHwa member, Lee MinWoo revealed on “Intimate Note” that he once had feelings towards Chae Yeon.
On the day of recording, Chae Yeon who was also a special guest for the episode had said “We have gone out to drink together before, that time MinWoo had called me to the stairs and lightly confessed his feelings.” This received shock from other members of ShinHwa and guests.
She also continued to say “Although, he didn’t say ‘like’, but at that time there was that thought. So I want to ask about it now.”
After Chae Yeon revealed the incident that happened, MinWoo said “Chae Yeon is sexy, getting along with her is very easy going and comfortable, she is nice to all the people around her, so I had feelings towards her.”

The Incheon Korean Music Wave 2009 will be held at the Incheon Literary Arena on this coming Saturday 22nd Aug at 7pm. Stars performing will be Rain, Super Junior, SNSD (Girls’ Generation), SS501, 2PM, F.T Island, Kara, MC Mong, Lee Min Woo, Lee Jung Hyun, Chae Yeon and so on.
In this coming event, there would be about 50,000 spectators to breathe together with the singers, it will definitely leave the spectators a memorable time of happiness.
‘Korean Incheon 2009 Concert’ would be shown on the MBC’s Show!Music Core, fans who are not able to participate in the concert, can feel the atmosphere by watching it on TV.
