►►Big Bang’s “My Heaven” is the “Best J-Pop Music of the Year”
Never forget that Big Bang made the life of Kpop in 2009 also ♥
Yet another win for Big Bang and G-Dragon. Korean music site “도시락” (dosirak) posted their review of the year 2009 with the best music and artist of the year.
From January 1st 2009 to December 20th 2009 G-Dragon got the “Best Album of the Year” and Big Bang’s Japanese album “My Heaven” got the “Best J-Pop Music of the Year”. The rest of the wins were controlled by girl groups and solo female singers, Big Bang and G-Dragon were the only two male winners.
Congrats once again boys, they just keep piling on the awards more and more.

Though all of the members are at the backstage, a screen was used to separate them. To forbid interactions, staffs would be them to monitor each of the members. It was said that they were even unable to communicate with each other. At both of the Best Hit and FNS Music Festival held on November 26 and December 20 respectively, we were able to saw all of the members performing live on stage. However, they (TVXQ) were later said to be giving each other cold shoulders. However if the above stated was true (that they were having bad relationship), they wouldn’t be talking with each other even if a screen wasn’t there! It however shows that the strong bond between members still exists and thus, barriers were needed so to prevent communication.
Despite the on-going lawsuit, the members arrived in Japan on Mid – December for the PV’s filming of their upcoming single – Break Out – said to be released on 2010. Similar to previous situation, a 3 – 2 formation was formed. 3 members stayed in hotel and flights scheduled that were different from the other 2 members. The atmosphere while filming the PV on December 15 and 16 was thus oddly tense.
Why? Apart from TVXQ’s managers, there were also staffs from Koreans who arrived specifically to observe the members while filming. Not only did this occur when filming, they were also watched while taking break. This is a harsh and major blow for members whom once mentioned that they hope to perform as a group.
Max Chang Min seems to be having a silent protest as he rarely spoke. Sam-san who direct for this PV, is the dance instructor and big brother for TVXQ too. While not working, SAM – san and the members would go for a drink and too and hopefully, they (TVXQ) are able to pour their sorrows and feelings to him. It must be difficult for them all to be working in a tense atmosphere.
It is a difficult period for members and their fans now. The lawyer of the 3 members also expressed that the 3 members were extremely apologetic that they had made their fans upset.
It wasn’t an easy decision for members to postpone the BIGEAST MEETING – one that they had been waiting eagerly – Xiah Jun Su also delayed the musical that he would be starring in so as to attend the meeting.
Fans hope that though they might not be in the current management company in the future, they (TVXQ) would be able to sing and perform on stage – as one.

►►2PM Wooyoung’s violent fans with long nails scratched his face
I don’t know how they can bear to call themselves ‘fans’ anymore…just like the crazy ‘fan’ who attacked FT Island’s SeungHyun 😦
The violent behaviour of 2PM WooYoung fans causing WooYoung to bleed on his face and arms shocked many.
2PM performed in a NB club in Seoul GangNam InGeun during the early hours of Christmas day on 25th December. With the news about their performance, fans have swamped the venus causing confusion and messy situation at the club.
And the problem happened when WooYoung was going up the stage, and fans who were trying to touch his face and arms, and hurt him with their long finger nails leaving scratches and blood stains on his face and arms.
A fan who was at the performance venue uploaded the video showing visible scratches and injuries on the left side of WooYoung’s face. His index finger was also covered in blood stains, causing many fans to worry. Blood stains were also visible on his clothes.
Member Nich Khun was seen worried and passing him tissue paper to wipe the blood stains off. And in order to have the excited fans to sit down, the members said, “For everyone and us to enjoy the performance, safety is the most important.”
Meanwhile, netizens who saw the video said, “Fans’ affection gone overboard”, “This is not affection, this is obsession”, “I’m worried about the safety of the members” etc.

Arirang TV held the “Gift Concert” with Unicef in time for the end of the year! Popular singers participated in the concert to help make it a memorable and meaningful event. Find out where and when you could watch this concert at home!
The “UNICEF Gift Concert” definitely celebrated the Christmas spirit, with appearances by top stars such as SHINee, MBLAQ, U-KISS. The event commemorates the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, which became the first legally binding international convention to affirm human rights for all children.
The concert was hosted by the MCs of Arirang TV’s Showbiz Extra, Adrien Lee and Yemi Lee.
The concert which took place December 9th is scheduled to air this Saturday, December 26th, through Arirang TV, also featuring appearances by former SES member, Bada, as well as new group, Lady Collection.

$54,700 USD…for an ad?! SM loves him some free advertisement & rich fan girls =.=;
TVXQ/DBSK supporters in the motherland and overseas have been riveted by the SME lawsuit for the past few months, and it looks like a certain group of international fans is really stepping up their game.
Five Balloons, a group of Japanese TVXQ supporters, recently created the TVXQ Smile Project, in which members donated money to put an advertisement in a daily Korean newspaper. Its monetary goal for Christmas? A whopping five million yen, which is approximately 64,400,000 won, $54,700 USD, or the price of a pretty nice sports car. I never realized how astronomically high newspaper ad rates were… and why fans would devote so much money to a boy group instead of a charity or something is beyond me, but that’s besides the point.
The ad is expected to include the words ‘TVXQ Smile Project,’ a message about TVXQ’s entity as a group only complete with five members, and a promise to forever love TVXQ and wait for them to sincerely smile.
As of yesterday, over four hundred participants collectively donated 1,764,000 yen (approx 22,700,000 won or $19,400 USD). Since this doesn’t meet the initial December 25 goal, the members plan to extend the period of donation collections and purchase the ad in mid-January.

The disturbance caused by Han Geng’s lawsuit is yet unresolved, but the company will not give up any chance at money-making, putting Henry and Zhang Liyin into a temporary group for performances.
Yesterday, a reporter learned from the source of a local performance that because of Han Geng’s contract termination, the constantly acting together SJM is now faced with disintegration, with member Henry and company colleague Zhang Liyin being put into a temporary group for performances. For thirty days, they will be performing together in Dongguan, pulling invitation prices of no more than 50,000 RMB.
Hunan TV also confirms this – being affected by the termination of contract, SJM may still appear in the New Year’s show as a “battered formation”.

SJM was originally scheduled to perform live as a group at Dongguan on the 30th, but a reporter failed to see SJM on the night’s performance list, instead seeing the group of Henry and Zhang Liyin performing “Love Me”. As leaked by a staff member of Guangdong TV, they suddenly received an urgent message from SM company on the 21st, expressing that SJM is unable to perform as a group due to “internal problems”, and raised the idea of replacing SJM with the new group of Henry and Zhang Liyin.
