Amidst of their crisis (DBSK lawsuit and 2PM’s Jaebum issues), these two huge and ultra popular Korean entertainment groups still are opening up auditions for foreigners all over the world (even though most of them are held in the U.S.). So if you think you’ve got talent, come and show them what you’ve got!

How to Apply:

Email Application: 2009@smtown.com (We will send a confirmation receipt of the time/place to the indicated e-mail address).
Direct Registration: Applications may register once they arrive at the audition location. (Applications who apply with email with have priority then applicants who apply at the audition location).

WHAT TO PREPARE FOR AUDITIONS:
Singers will be asked to sing acapella and without an MR and a microphone. Cover songs and original songs are allowed.
Dancers will be asked to dance freestyle. CD is to be brought by each individual applicant.
Actors/Actresses will be asked to do impromptu acting. Scripts/monologues are to be memorized and be brough by each indivudual applicant.
Models (Fashion, Commercial) will be asked to pose.
Composers/Lyricists will be asked to submit original CDs or musical scores.

Wanna be a star, think you have talent? Here’s your chance to become one and work with one of Korea’s top producers and most successful artist, JYP (Park Jin Young). The JYP USA Audition Tour is coming soon to America and Canada (yes it says USA Tour but they haven’t forgotten about our friends up north).

Things to prepare for at the audition:
A. Vocal Part – One minute of singing (without MR)
B. Dancing Part – One minute of dancing to a Music CD
C. Acting / VJ / MC Part – One minute of impromptu or memorized acting (no designated script)
D. Model Part – Posing and Cat Walking

Directions:
A. A list of those who have passed will be announced individually be December 15th.
B. JYPE reserves the right to keep copies of audition footage it has filmed and received.
C. The selected final winner will have an opportunity to be trained by the JYPE Training Program.
